DoY Meet-Up – May 6th – Launch Youth Participation in Research – DoY Learning Network

How to have youth participate in the research process so that their voices and ideas are included? This is an exciting and – at times challenging – journey. Whether you are a student, an experienced (youth) researcher or just starting out, this is an opportunity for us to embark on this journey together. During the DoY Meet-Up, we’ll officially launch the Youth Participation in Research – DoY Learning Network.

How can we truly involve young people in the research process? At Dynamics of Youth (DoY), we’re excited to explore this question through the newly established Youth Participation in Research – DoY Learning Network.

The learning network aims to support youth participation in (academic) research, fostering a vibrant community within Utrecht University. By doing so, we aim to enhance the relevance, quality, and impact of youth research while empowering young people. In our community of practice, we will inspire and learn from each other by sharing experiences, knowledge, and resources. Together, we’ll collaborate on specific projects, to foster learning by doing.

15:30 – 16:45 Launch of the network and interactive learning by doing

16:45 – 17:30 Informal network drinks
